Deep garnet in color, it offers up a gorgeous perfume of kirsch, black currant jelly, and preserved plums, leading to hints of dried herbs, fallen leaves, new leather, and spice box. The full-bodied palate delivers a beautifully mature palate of black fruit preserves and savory layers, framed by velvety tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and earthy.”

“Displaying a deep garnet-purple color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Passionnement has crushed black currants and black plums with touches of dark chocolate, espresso, spice box and sautéed herbs. Full-on expressive and packed with cassis and spicy flavor layers, with finely grained tannins and great freshness, it finishes very long on an earthy note. 250 cases were made.”

“This is loamy in feel, with dark fig, black currant and plum fruit melded with notes of savory, alder and roasted sage. The long finish lets the fruit play out while picking up an extra tug of dark earth. Dense but defined, so let this unwind fully in the cellar. Best from 2022 through 2035. 250 cases made.”
