“The 2018 Montecucco Rosso Riserva bursts from the glass with a blend of medicinal cherries, blackberries and sweet oak spice. It's silky and suave, with creamy textures and ripe red and blue fruits underscored by mounting mineral tones and fine tannins. It finishes dramatically long and lightly structured, with a staining of wild berry concentration and hints of sour orange. While this comes across as international in style, the end result is highly pleasurable.”
