“Knockout youthful and bright primary notes of cassis hint at sweet berry liqueur, refined baking spices, thyme, sage, and an earthy truffle quality. Focused on the palate with pure blackberry, blackberry and spiced plum fruits, delicate tobacco and currant jelly infused with a bright allspice and red liquorice note. Long beams of cedarwood tannins provide a solid foundation for the full-bodied finish. Situated above Sonoma Valley in the Moon Mountain AVA, organically farmed vineyards and olive groves surround wine caves. Founded by the late Lorenzo Petroni. The winemaker is New Zealand native Martin Mackenzie.”
