“I continue to love the wines from Michel Gracia. His 2018 Château Gracia comes from a 1.83-hectare parcel in Saint-Emilion and is 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a true vin de garage operation, made in a tiny cellar in the village. Revealing a dense purple hue as well as a rocking nose of crème de cassis, espresso, smoked tobacco, new leather, and spring flowers, this carries to a full-bodied wine with incredible polish and elegance, plenty of power and richness, silky tannins, and a great, great finish. This is another magical wine from this vigneron that will benefit from 4-5 years in the cellar and keep for two decades.”
