“The 2022 Chardonnay La Pommeraie was barrel fermented and matured for 15 months in 45% new French oak. It opens dramatically as it airs in the glass, segueing from poached pear and quince to elderflower and meringue aromas. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with lush, green tropical fruits and accents of crème brûlée from its maturation in 40% new French oak. It has a satiny texture foiled by tangy acidity and a long, energetic finish. 319 cases produced.”
