“Riley's Red Blend from Napa superstar Russell Bevan, and with this wine aged in a mix of fancy French Darnajou and Taransaud barrels for 20 months, giving the wine immense structure, with beautifully integrated oak spices, that also become earthy, like just-turned fresh loamy earth, supporting a host of blackberry and blackcherry fruits that have a velvety richness, great fruit depth, with expressive sweet paprika and dried sagebrush notes through the full-bodied and expressive finish.
