“Attractive red berry notes, mocha spices, cedar and pine. Dark cherry fruit, kirsch, powerful, mocha-tinged tannins, ample grip and fragrant baking spices on the long, dry finish.”
“The bouquet on the 2019 Rosso di Montalcino is totally classic, as dusty rose and bright cherry are nicely contrasted by hints of leather strap and barren soil. The textures are silky and pliant, nicely matched by a pretty inner sweetness and licorice-tinged wildberries; yet all is well-balanced through a core of juicy acidity. This tapers off with admirable length and persistent ripe fruit, only lightly structured, yet truly delectable. Very nice.”
