To be published in September 2026: "This Reserve Cabernet is a classic Cabernet, bursting with macerated blackberry and black cherry fruit, graphite, and sweet oak spices, with hints of clove and vanilla bean. Full-bodied with fine-grained tannins that weave a nice tapestry of texture, resolving nicely through the fruit-driven finish. Impressively approachable with the structure to hold 3-5 years in the cellar easily.

Tasting Panel93 pts

Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Franc add depth, color, and ripeness to this 89% Cabernet Sauvignon. Wild blackberries surround clove and cigar leaf. Sandalwood sparked with white pepper and red tea is tempered with robust yet velvety tannins, contributing to the wine’s strong framework and inviting texture. Youthful and focused.

Anyone have experience with this one to share?

They had this same sale a couple months ago, and I bought 3 bottles. I haven't tried them yet, felt young. I've had other Sterlings at the vineyard that I quite liked (their 19' Malbec in particular is one I remember being a highlight), so I have enough trust to buy some, especially since the free shipping minimum is only 1 now, which feels like a great deal for LB vs. the usual minimums. Probably won't buy more today given I haven't tried the ones I have, but maybe that's an excuse to some tonight.

You should definitely take one for the team and try that tonight and report back.

Alright I poured a glass out with my Coravin. Tasted it freshly poured, then again after decanting in the glass for an hour. Wasn't my favorite, mostly just getting a lot of alcohol. It probably needs some age.
