“This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Home Ranch in Lake County, where vines are rooted in ancient volcanic soils at over 488 metres elevation in the region’s rugged mountains. The wine is equally rugged in character, with a full-bodied appeal and loads of juicy dark berry fruit, graphite, and crème de cassis. Towering tannins arrest the palate but resolve gracefully through a neatly knit structure, leaving in their wake nothing but decadent blackberry and blueberry fruit, beckoning for another sip.”
