“This Frizzante is incredibly fragrant, with zippy acidity, and the typically honeyed and lush Catarratto is crisp, bright, and focused with a bright, frothy, airy mousse. The 'Sapiddu' fanciful name is Sicilian dialect for "who knows"... this Pet-Nat style is made naturally from organically farmed Catarratto grapes. The color is intentionally cloudy, with sediment, so let the bottle sit upright before pouring, and you'll find a bright, crisp, laser-focused and absolutely dynamic frizzante white from Oscar Arrivabene (General Manager and winemaker at the iconic Domenico Clerico) finishing with an almost lager-like quality.”
