“The exuberant 2019 Pinot Noir Lafayette Heights blossoms in the glass with depths of cherry and plum sauce, sweet sage, mint and hints of cola. It's silky-smooth - pure elegance - with a polished wave of ripe red and blue fruits underscored by saline mineral tones that add a savory feel through the close. The 2019 leaves the palate caked in primary concentration and a coating of fine tannins as it finishes long and staining with a wild blueberry resonance. The Lafayette heights is a pleasure bomb yet immaculately balanced throughout. This is Rose & Arrow's only single vineyard from the Dundee Hills, yet it is unique for its soils, where fracutred basalt can be found just two feet below the surface. Only 99 cases were produced.”
