“The 2018 Pinot Noir Highland Close gives up dark mineral tones of graphite, and the palate is ripe with super-fine tannins, loads of kirsch, rocky earth, five-spice, and crushed purple flowers. It has a layered and mineral style with a lifted finish that offers a lot of pleasure now, although it will also be rewarding to hold onto. Drink 2025-2035.”
