“This Cabernet comes from Weston Eidson, who honed his craft working alongside Napa Valley’s Jason Moore and Russell Bevan. The 2024 is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Oakville AVA and Yountville AVA, and aged in 50% new French oak barrels. Incredibly consistent in style from year to year, you can expect juicy upfront flavours and plenty of fine-grained tannin structure to support some mid-term cellaring. It bursts out of the glass with black cherry and ripe mulberry fruit in this vintage, with hints of graphite, cocoa powder, and cedarwood spice. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with more sweet-spiced red berry fruit emerging, the full-bodied finish features some building tannin, so a good decanting is ideal if enjoying this wine in its youth.”
