“To be published in June 2025: Marnet is the project of Dan Ricciato, director of viticulture for renowned consulting winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. This Pinot Noir comes from the organically farmed Chouette Vineyard, located just 1.8 miles from the coastal town of Occidental, perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The wine is beautifully focused, offering crunchy red berry fruit—cranberry and cherry—layered with notes of clove, allspice, and crushed cacao nibs. The finish is long and grounded in loamy earth, with a touch of salinity and a flourish of wildflowers.”
