“This Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands in California's Monterey County is a blend of multiple clones, aged 10 months in 12% new French oak. It's a wonderfully earthy wine, richly scented with Bing cherry, black truffle, and red rooibos tea. Medium to full-bodied with soft, round, and creamy red berry fruit on the palate, which gains volume from rather plump tannins. Tangy blood orange acidity serves up a refreshing finish marked by tilled earth, sweet clove, cinnamon, and cedarwood.”
