“Kauzo obtains the grapes for this malbec from a 4.5-hectare vineyard planted in 1960 in the Altamira zone of the Uco Valley. It's a malbec with juicy red fruit, polished tannins, and firm acidity that gives it life and especially nerve. Although it's mild compared to most of the malbec from that area, this one has a certain elegance that distinguishes it. A subtle look at Altamira, today one of Argentina's primary sources for red wines.”
