“The 2022 Rapszodia is 100% Cabernet Franc, aged in 85% new French oak (the balance is in second-fill wood). Scents of cedar, tea and black cherries offer ample complexity on the nose, but where this wine really shines is on the palate. Picked September 29, it's medium to full-bodied at 14.3% alcohol, richly concentrated and dense, with a hint of dark chocolate fudge, but it's not cooked or raisiny, just the distilled-down essence of what the Cabernet Franc from this vineyard delivers, finishing silky and elegant, with awesome length.”
