“The 2020 Pinot Noir West Ridge is a dark, brooding wine. Broad swaths of tannin wrap around a core of dark cherry/plum fruit. Leather, spice, incense, tobacco and dried herbs lend striking savory nuance. The West Ride is a rare 2020 Pinot that I would cellar for a few years. Although the tannins are pretty imposing, the 2020 also has plenty of fruit to back it up.”
