“The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon The Trail is a blockbuster effort that has just about everything you could want from a Napa Valley Cabernet. Loads of bloody blue fruits and marine-like salinity and iron give way to a full-bodied, deep, opulent 2018 with ripe, building tannins, a great mid-palate, and one incredible finish. It shows more violets, sage, and chocolate notes with time in the glass and is a thrill a minute. It should benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and have two decades of overall longevity. Bravo!”
