“Gemma was founded in Serralunga d’Alba in 1978 by Silvano Piacentini, who also owns 64 acres in the Langhe. Elegant red cherry, spiced plum, tobacco, and cedarwood see a hint of white pepper. Medium-bodied and too easy to drink, with velvety tannins and a pop of licorice.”
