This 2022 Napa Cabernet showcases Morrissey’s deft hand in the cellar, with fruit sourced from Coombsville that brings a dark-fruited, savoury-spiced nose, characteristic of the southern Napa AVA. Alluring aromas of ripe blackberry, toasted fennel, and fine cedar lift from the glass. A rush of juicy blackberry, blueberry, and spiced plum melds with ripe fig on the palate. A grippy acid backbone balances firm, elongated tannins, creating both density and freshness. This Napa Cab can carry a meal or be savoured later with a good cigar.”
