“From a vineyard that is still owned by the Frank Family—off Buchli Station Road, near Bouchaine—the 2022 Chardonnay Lewis Vineyard is toasty, leesy and custardy, with overtones of citrus and white peaches. Despite being fermented and aged 11 months in 100% new French oak, it's not overdone, being medium to full-bodied, plump, round and generous, with cream and citrus notes lingering on the prolonged finish.”
