“Light to medium lemon core with a watery rim in the glass, the 2021 Fort Ross Vineyard Chardonnay impresses with delectable notes of white tea, Golden Delicious apples, crushed cinnamon sticks, and white flowers. Rich fruit and spice notes lead to a long-lasting finish with gobs of mouthwatering acidity. It spent 11 months in French oak, with 30% being new, which gives a lovely, spicy quality to the wine.”
