Taste profile
“Rose, ripe berry, menthol and sunbaked earth aromas come to the forefront. On the full-bodied palate, enveloping, seasoned tannins accompany dried black cherry, star anise and tobacco. Drink 2024–2029. Kerin O’Keefe”
“The 2017 Barolo from Figli Luigi Oddero has a youthful tone and is still very pale ruby in color. It has very clean, bright, and delicate aromas, with cool wild strawberry and creamy spice notes. It has a very melded, integrated nose with lots of nuance. There is a lovely harmonious texture on the palate - it is really silky with fine-textured, upright chalky tannins - and is really beautifully harmonious with a squeeze of bright acidity and persistent pure strawberry. Drink now for up to 15 years.”
