“The 2023 Edict Collinetta Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is distinctly Oakville in its aromatics, opening with blackberry, black cherry and sagebrush, all building towards notes of tobacco, scorched earth and cedarwood. Rich and full-bodied, velvety fruit meets firm tannins as the wine unfolds, revealing additional layers of cassis and Asian spices, finishing with warm, spicy, smoked paprika notes and a sense of tannic tension and power. Best enjoyed after a good decant.”
