“From two terraced blocks on the property, this wine’s fruit ferments mostly as whole clusters (more than three quarters), a portion of it in an amphora. Winemaker Cory Waller locates a florality at the heart of this wine: aromas of sandalwood and lavender giving way to generous, sun-warmed plum flavors. The suede-like texture has a dusting of fine, dark tannins and the wine has the stuff to age.”
