“A warm and inviting expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa's Chiles Valley, situated between 600 and 1,200 feet elevation, on the eastern side of the Vaca mountain range. It is a long, skinny valley rife with volcanic soils. That factor comes to life immediately with red earth aromatics, red currants, sweet tobacco, and dried sage. Full-bodied with sweet black currants fruits and more tobacco spice notes intertwined with cedar-rich tannins that are fine and granular, building on the long finish of turned earth, muddled bing cherry, rhubarb pie, and salty minerals.”
