“Guillaume Marteaux keeps his biodynamic preparation in a coffer that doesn't allow for radiowave penetration. Biodynamic to the extreme. 100% Pinot Meunier, with a base vintage of 2017. 5 g/L aged six years on the lees. Native yeast ferments. It is gorgeously nutty with baked apples and pears and expressive minerality on the nose with a honeycomb. Wonderfully rich on the palate with incredible density balanced by intensely saline-scented orchard fruit and layers of caramelized almonds with a long, truffle-rich finish. Wow.”
