“The J.M. Goulard Special Club 2017 Champagne is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Pinot Meunier, with a dosage of 5 g/L. The nose opens with sea spray and oyster shell minerality, layered with apricot, subtle woodsy notes, and a hint of black truffle. The palate delivers a rich, creamy mousse that builds into a mid-palate packed with loamy earth, black truffle, and chalky minerality. There’s ample richness, yet it remains remarkably fresh, driven by underlying verve and tension.”
