“The 2014 Brut Millésime Cuvée Spéciale is super-expressive right out of the gate. Ample and effusive, the Cuvée Spéciale offers lovely brightness to play off its savory Pinot character. Dried lemon peel, sage, mint, dried flowers and chamomile are front and center. Brisk acids pull it all together on the close. I would not push my luck on aging, as the aromatics are a touch forward. Even so, this is nicely done.”
