“A contemporary Barolo with a mix of character and elegance. Earth, strawberries, cacao, cinnamon, dried cherries and orange peel on the nose. Smooth, full-bodied and elegant, it shows velvety tannins, almost zesty acidity and a savory, floral aftertaste. Try from 2026.”
“Opening to soft tones and delicate fruit nuances, the Cascina Adelaide 2021 Barolo Cannubi shows the complexity and the grace of this very special site. Loose sandy soils account for the elegance of this historic site with southeast exposures at 250 meters in elevation. In the case of Cascina Adelaide, the vineyards were created with a massal selection. The wine reveals small berry fruits, dried rose and spice over a mid-weight mouthfeel, ending with chalky tannins. This is a release of 3,500 bottles.”
“Brilliant ruby colour with a garnet-red tinge. Powerful and inviting on the nose of preserved blackberries and plums, with notes of thyme and lilies and a hint of mocha. With plenty of tension and rich fruit on the palate, on a firm tannin bed, through to the long, subtly savoury finish.”
“Pretty aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry and rose are the hallmarks of this graceful red. Iron and wild herb accents add detail as the solid structure emerges, with a tight grip on the lively finish. Best from 2028 through 2045. 160 cases made, 90 cases imported.”

This Brunello is delicious. Had it with beef shank ragout. Glad I got two.
I'd be happy to hear what's in any/all the mystery cases, if someone has received them!
