“Crafted from 100% dry-farmed Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this wine is aged for up to 16 months in oak, including 40% new French oak. Remarkably consistent in style when compared to previous vintages, the 2022 release introduces a touch more richness and fruit sweetness on the mid-palate. This is a beautifully approachable Napa Cabernet, showcasing bright blueberry fruit, lilacs, and fine cedar spices. Medium to full-bodied, it has generous, velvety tannins, complemented by notes of graphite, dark cocoa, and pressed flowers on the lengthy finish. Produced by a small winery based in Calistoga and crafted by Seth Cripe, who also has a label called Lola, the vines range from 15 to 45 years old.”
