Benmar Pinot Noir Enchantment Eola-Amity Hills 2023

“To be published in July 2025: The 2023 Enchantment Pinot Noir draws from a selection of Eola-Amity Hills' Witness Tree, Sojeau, X Novo, and Temperance Hill sites. In the glass, this dark-fruited wine is all pure fruit grace. Aromas of mulberry and black raspberry ripple out, layered with graphite, dried sage, and sandalwood. Medium-bodied, anchored by sculpted, firm tannins and a spine of zesty acidity. More brown spices and black tea with a hint of incense and summer-warmed saltstone build on the mineral-driven finish. Fermentation was in stainless steel, followed by aging for 15 months in 40% new French oak.”
