“This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from both St. Helena and Oak Knoll, offering a balanced expression of the two AVAS. Aged for 18 months in 60% new French oak, it reveals a rich panoply of spice. Winemaker Morgan Maureze—who trained under Andy Erickson (Favia, Screaming Eagle) and now leads Seven Apart—crafts a wine of subtle aromatic layering, with red berry and blackcurrant fruit, dusty minerals, and vanilla-laced cedarwood. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate, cocoa powder tannins provide elegant texture, building through a powerful finish of chalky minerality and well-integrated notes of violet and garrigue.”
