“The 2022 Angles Pinot Noir from Congress Springs Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains is crafted by Jim Cargill. A blend of clones 667, 777, and 115 was aged for 11 months in 50% new French oak. Wonderfully fragrant, it lifts from the glass with black cherry, baking spices, fresh cedar, and espresso bean. Medium-bodied, with crystalline acidity and fine, grippy tannins, it offers a beautifully textured structure. Vibrant notes of ruby-red raspberry, cherry, grapefruit zest, and crunchy pomegranate seeds bring freshness and energy to the long, expressive finish.”
