“The 2022 Chardonnay El Jabali comes from a site on the eastern side of the Sta. Rita Hills (this is the estate vineyard) and spent 11 months in 48% new French oak. It has a rocking bouquet of buttered citrus, tangerine, exotic flowers, honeyed flowers, and a kiss of almond paste. This carries to a medium-bodied Chardonnay with a round, lush mouthfeel, remarkable purity, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length.”
