“This shows cassis, tamarind and clove-like spices as well as a touch of mint, bell peppers and herbs. Juicy with cool berry and cherry fruit, it’s crunchy and lightly chewy, turning dusty and long at the end. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink from 2027.”
“One of three cuvées in the 'parcels of Durfort-Vivens' range with Le Plateau epitomising the 'power and smoothness' of Margaux. A deep and brooding nose full of dark fruit and appealing floral scents. Juicy and lifted - bright acidity underpins grippy tannins with an intense cola, juicy blueberry and wet stone element that cleans the tongue and leaves a lingering minerality. Vibrant and punchy, this has a tang to the fruit and a lively overall character with persistence.”
“Delicious ink and rose petal waves through the opening, soft power, with crayon and graphite. Savoury Cabernet Sauvignon character, good Left Bank character, 70% new oak, 30% amphora.”

Mystery Wine Identification
Cain Five 2013
Cain Vineyard & Winery
The massive clue 'while you are ABLE!' is a clear pun on Cain and Abel, pointing directly to Cain Vineyard & Winery. Furthermore, the mention of exactly 'all FIVE of the traditional Bordeaux grapes' directly refers to their flagship wine, Cain Five. The estate specs (500 acres with 88 planted before being ravaged by a fire) perfectly describe the Cain estate prior to the 2020 Glass Fire, and the renowned 'signature funk' perfectly describes the traditional 'Cain funk' associated with winemaker Christopher Howell's natural winemaking approach.
This is our best guess based on available clues and is not guaranteed.
